Set up budgets
Start with one overall budget for the month. Add category budgets later for the areas you want to watch. Every expense you add, edit or delete updates your progress right away.
Create an overall budget
- Go to Budget and choose Create budget.
- Choose Overall, enter the amount and pick a period: weekly, monthly or custom dates.
- Save. The home screen now shows how much you have left.
Budgets are always in your home currency. Expenses in other currencies count at their converted amount.
Add category budgets
Create a budget for a single category, such as Dining or Shopping, to keep an eye on the areas where spending tends to drift. You do not need a budget for every category.
Alert thresholds
Each budget has an alert threshold, for example 80%. When your spending passes it, Savvyra shows a gentle heads-up, like “You’ve used 81% of Dining this month”. It never stops you from saving an expense.
Reading your progress
- Left to spend: budget minus spending so far in this period.
- Daily allowance: what you have left divided by the days remaining.
- Category progress: which categories are closest to their limits.
When a period ends
Savvyra does not create the next period on its own. When a period ends, it reminds you, and you can copy the previous budgets in one tap, adjusting amounts if needed.
Questions
How many budgets can I create for free?
One overall budget and up to three category budgets at a time. Savvyra Pro removes these limits.
What happens when a budget period ends?
Savvyra reminds you and lets you copy the previous period's budgets in one tap. Budgets are not renewed automatically.
What happens to my budgets if Pro ends?
Budgets above the free limit become read-only. They stay visible, you can delete them, and they become editable again if you resubscribe.
