Getting started with Savvyra

Setting up Savvyra takes about a minute: answer two quick questions, sign in, and log your first expense.

1. Tell Savvyra what you want

When you open the app for the first time, choose one or more goals, such as spending less on eating out or keeping receipts in one place. Savvyra uses them to tailor what you see first.

2. Pick your home currency

Your home currency is the one your totals and budgets are shown in. Savvyra suggests one based on your phone’s region. Choose carefully: in version 1.0 it cannot be changed after setup. You can still record expenses in any of 30+ currencies.

3. Sign in

Sign in with Apple, Google or your email. With email, we send a 6-digit code that is valid for a few minutes. Signing in means your expenses are backed up and available on all your devices.

4. Log your first expense

Choose the way that suits the moment:

  • Scan a receipt or screenshot. See Scan receipts.
  • Say or type something like “coffee 4.5”. See Voice and text entry.
  • Enter it manually with the number pad, choose a category and save.

5. Set a budget (optional)

A single monthly budget is enough to start. Savvyra then shows how much you have left every time you log something. See Set up budgets.

Questions

Do I need to create a password?

No. You sign in with Apple, Google or a one-time code sent to your email, so there is no password to remember.

Can I use Savvyra on more than one device?

Yes. Sign in with the same account on each device and your expenses sync automatically.

Can I change my home currency later?

Not in version 1.0. Choose the currency you spend in most often; you can still log expenses in any other currency.
